Summary
Almost exactly at the beginning of spring, the Oldtimer Galerie once again organized the eagerly awaited auction in Toffen on 22 March 2025. On offer were 84 vehicles, including six motorcycles, with a total value of over CHF 2.5 million. 69% were sold outright, a further 20% under reserve and only 11% were left standing. Surprisingly, three pre-war vehicles led to long bidding wars and unexpectedly high bids. However, utility classics were also well received. This auction review analyzes the results, documents the atmosphere on site and shows all the vehicles in pictures.

Preview (beginning of the article)
78 cars and six motorcycles went under the hammer at the popular spring auction at the Oldtimer Galerie Toffen on March 22, 2025. On average, the vehicles were just over 51 years old and valued at CHF 30,000. 57% of the lots were offered without a reserve price. 58 vehicles (69%) were sold, while 17 lots (20%) still require renegotiation. Only nine vehicles (11%) failed to attract bids that at least allowed a conditional sale. Serge Stotzer was very satisfied with how the auction, which lasted around 4.25 hours, went: "The market has spoken!". In fact, the bidders on site, but also those who took part by phone or online, had made their preferences clear.
