Photo Gallery «Geneva Motor Show 1959 - innovative solutions at the end of an important decade»
From March 12 to 22, 1959, the international automobile scene met in Geneva, where a record 300,000 visitors were counted. There was plenty to see, although not necessarily many new products. Instead, the latest technological trends and many improvements in design and mechanics were on display. Among the show stars were certainly the Fiat 1800, the Aston Martin DB4 and the Simca Fulgur and Scimitar concept cars. This Salon review shows many of the exhibited cars in over 130 historical photographs and explains the context and highlights of the exhibition.
