Summary
Until August 27, Autoworld Brussels is presenting the special exhibition "Chevrolet Corvette - A Legend Turns 70", featuring 16 examples of America's longest-lived sports car. These include not only production models, but also some prototypes - and even a Lotus. We present a short tour for all those for whom Brussels is too far away.

The Chevrolet Corvette has been around for 70 years now. Of course, there have been and still are other American sports cars, but the "Vette" is generally regarded as one of, if not the typical representative of this genre. Always equipped with a plastic body until the seventh model generation, it has been produced in eight series to date, which are numbered consecutively and all begin with a "C". The history of the Corvette was already described in detail on zwischengas.com around ten years ago, starting with the C1, which got off to an unfortunate start and was initially still equipped with a six-cylinder engine, right through to the C7. It was therefore exciting to see how this "All-American" sports car would be presented at its current anniversary in Brussels.
