Summary
74 cars, several two-wheelers and automobilia were auctioned at Bonhams' Zoute Concours on October 9, 2022. With a sales rate of 91% and bids that exceeded the median estimate on average, the Bonhams auction in Belgium was very successful. A BMW 507 sold for the highest price, but the most surprising lots were a number of young classics and a Lamborghini Miura to be restored. This auction review analyzes the results and shows all the cars in pictures.

Preview (beginning of the article)
For many years now, the Bonhams auction has been a fixed item on the program of the annual Zoute Grand Prix, which also includes a major Concours d'Elégance, in Knokke-Heist (Belgium). On October 9, 2022 (Sunday afternoon), Bonhams then auctioned 74 cars, some motorcycles and automobiles as part of a sales event that lasted around four and a half hours. The vehicles had been estimated in advance at around EUR 28.7 million. 59 percent of the cars - an unusually high proportion for Europe - were offered without a reserve price, apparently because the Belgian and international bidders were sure to be interested.
