Bonhams opened the Scottstale auction at the Westin kierland Resort on January 15, 2015. 84 cars were ready and waiting for new owners, 85% of which found them at an average selling price of USD 342,356 (Euro 292,411, CHF 300,599). On average, the lots sold (including surcharge/commissions) reached 99.99% of the median estimate. This would almost be a precision landing if there had not been considerable fluctuations. The 1966 Ferrari 275 GTB/C from Scuderia Filipinetti was announced as the highlight of the auction. And this multiple Le Mans participant certainly lived up to expectations with a sales price of USD 9.405 million (EUR 8.032 million, CHF 8.258 million).
