The Bonhams auction at the London headquarters on Bond Street has been a tradition for years. Only a few cars and some automobilia go under the hammer in the pre-Christmas atmosphere. December 16, 2022 was the perfect day to join this tradition. A total of 29 cars worth GBP 7.4 million were on offer. On average, the vehicles were only 41 years old. 45 percent of the vehicles were British-made, with Aston Martin having the strongest presence with six cars, followed by Bentley with four. However, only 7 of the 13 "Brits" were sold, but more on that later. Lamborghini and Mercedes-Benz were represented with three cars each. In total, the 29 cars were divided between 15 brands, all of which were still fairly familiar.
