Auctionata "Ferrari Only" - 27 jumping horses auctioned for around 14 million euros
Summary
The market was eager to see how suitable the Auctionata format would be for a high-priced auction of fine Ferrari sports cars. The doubters were proved wrong. Within three hours, the hammer fell 27 times and the bids, including surcharges/commissions, totaled around 14 million euros or CHF 14.6 million. Top prices were offered for the F40, F50, Testarossa and BB, and some later Ferrari cars in mint condition also fetched high prices. This report analyzes and shows the results in detail.

It was naturally exciting to see whether Auctionata would make the leap into the "premier league" of car auctioneers. On September 26, 2015 at 18:00, the Berlin specialist's first auction began with exclusively Ferrari vehicles. At least almost, because a Sbarro had also smuggled itself in. But in the end, it was Franco Sbarro's interpretation of the Ferrari P4 and a Ferrari 308 served as the basis. The estimated prices were in line with the usual high international auction level. The auction was organized in cooperation with "Schaltkulisse GmbH", a Munich-based Ferrari specialist. This was an "online sensation", said auctioneer Philipp von Hutten in his introduction.
