The 10th Rallye Automobile Monaco - now finally called the Rallye Monte Carlo - is the most difficult in its short history. Neither the GP drivers Louis Chiron in a 16-cylinder touring car nor Count Lurani reach their starting point in Stavanger, desperately try to find Oslo in the snowstorm, succeed in doing so, start themselves and are immediately disqualified from the distant, sunny Monaco. Bad news also comes from Tallinn. A single car can be started. But near Königsberg, Perl crashes into a tree, totally exhausted. Total loss! All the others are waiting for a thaw somewhere in a snowdrift!
