There are three trade fairs that you have to visit. At the top is the Retromobile in Paris, followed by the Techno-Classica in Essen, which is on a par with the Auto e Moto d'Epoca in Bologna - which was also represented in Essen as the "fall counterpart" to the Techno-Classica and promoted its great days in October. Even though most of the manufacturers have now said goodbye here - as is the case almost everywhere - tens of thousands of visitors were able to enjoy the event in Essen for the 35th time. Over 1250 exhibitors from more than 30 nations arrived, including many from the Benelux countries, which were strongly represented in all halls. A total of around 2700 automobiles - curiosities such as a Porsche 911 with a special student body; sought-after specialties such as a Maserati 26M, and surprising exotics such as the Mercedes-AMG One - were on display.
