For the 29th time, owners and connoisseurs of British vehicles on two to four wheels met in Morges on Lake Geneva to celebrate their enjoyment of their cars together at the "Swiss Classic British Car Meeting".

In beautiful fall weather and in compliance with the 3G rules, cars from Austin to Wolseley united in the alleys of the beautifully situated town of Morges. They had come not only from the canton of Vaud, but from all over Switzerland and even from abroad. Many sports cars came to Morges from France in particular.

All in all, there were probably hardly any fewer cars driving through the small town than in the previous year, when there were around 1600 vehicles that were admired by around 25,000 spectators.
Guests of honor Morgan and Triumph
The cars from Morgan and Triumph were particularly celebrated on Saturday, October 3, 2021. They were (partially) allowed to show off in front of the castle, but were also present everywhere else.

Whether two-, three- or four-wheelers, Triumph and Morgan had them all.

In addition to the TR models from Triumph, a large number of Spitfire and Stag models also found their way to Morges.
From bread-and-butter to exclusive sports cars
As always at the Morges meeting, there was not only a wide range of brands, but also a wide range of vehicle characteristics.

Of course, a considerable proportion of the cars were sporty constructions, but in between there were also many everyday cars from the past and exclusive saloons from the past.
Breadth and depth
As every year, the roadsters and coupés from MG and Triumph were most strongly represented, but Austin-Healey, Bentley, Jaguar and Rolls-Royce were also well represented. And in between you could spot the odd Lotus, Morris, Sunbeam, TVR, etc.

The colorful mix in a picture-perfect ambience was certainly pleasing and is already whetting the appetite for the next event.
After all, the 30th Swiss Classic British Car Meeting is to be organized in 2022 and the organizers will certainly come up with something very special for the anniversary.
