Summary
Between 1965 and 1970, Cadillac built the Sixty Special on the GM C platform, the "Fleetwood" version of which was the most expensive way to drive a Cadillac in this country. The almost monumental luxury liner was also suitable for use as a state limousine, five of which served as Federal Council limousines. This report portrays one of the five state limousines, explains its technology and origin and describes driving impressions in words, pictures and sound, supplemented by historical documents and factory photos.

The black four-door, which had been delivered on January 13, 1970 and was used as one of five similar Federal Council limousines, hardly differed from other Cadillacs of the time. The only distinguishing feature was the attachment for a flag at the front right.
