Back in the 1980s, Renault helped the R5 back on its feet by installing a mid-engine behind the driver/passenger. The experiment was repeated at the end of the nineties, except that the Sport Clio V6 24V could now count on a three-liter six-cylinder engine. The utility value decreased, but the fun factor increased disproportionately. Does that still apply today?
