Photo Gallery «Peugeot 403 BD - not revolutionary, but self-igniting»
A few years ago, they were still often seen in everyday traffic, but soon they were only seen at classic car meetings. The Peugeot 403 was built in various versions from 1955 to 1966 and, despite its conservative design, also offered innovative features such as a diesel engine and an automatic clutch. As the antipode to the Citroën DS, it was the right car for people who simply wanted a pleasant car. This driving report is about a Peugeot 403 BD from 1965 with a diesel engine, tells the story of the model series and shows the cars in current and historical photos as well as in the sales documents from back then.
