When Lancia presented the Pininfarina Coupé for the Flaminia in 1958, this was a logical addition to the product range, which in addition to the saloon (also designed by Pininfarina) also included two sporty coupés from Touring and Zagato as well as a convertible. The Pininfarina Coupé inherited all the technical advantages of the saloon and was considered to be the perfect long-distance companion for the upper classes.
