With the A112 Abarth, the car manufacturer Autobianchi, which operated under Fiat/Lancia control, launched a sporty small car that could give even much more powerful sports cars a hard time on narrow roads. In the city, the A112 was almost unbeatable anyway and it was so good that it was built largely unchanged for around 17 years. During these years, its fan base grew steadily, which is why the Italian small car is now a sought-after classic car.
