The Glas brand, which was taken over by BMW in the mid-sixties, was once an influential player in the German car market. Models such as the Goggomobil and the Glas 1300 GT were coveted and popular. The Glas 1500 saloon was also a good success - an all-round successful mid-range car. It was so good, in fact, that the hobby tester wrote in the highest terms (and even in Bavarian dialect). This report reproduces the original wording from the hobby article and shows the four-door Glas 1500 in many pictures and in the historical sales literature.
