Hardly any other car combines racing car genes, design elegance and granturismo qualities as perfectly as a Fiat Dino Spider. It was built from 1966 to 1973, first as a two-liter and later as a 2.4-liter version. Almost 1,600 Spiders were sold, and today they are coveted classics. This report describes the history of the Fiat Dino Spider and portrays an example from 1968, supplemented by many archive images, the sales brochure and press documents.
