Some described the design of the Fiat Coupé as attractive, others called it bizarre; in any case, Chris Bangle's design was received controversially. All in all, however, the unusual two-door car had many convincing qualities and is still popular and sought-after as a classic car today. This driving report focuses on the weaker two-liter four-cylinder version and shows the coupé in current and historical photographs as well as in the sales and press literature of the time.
