Preview (beginning of the article)
Willy H. Felber, a distinguished French-speaking Swiss, ran the company "Haute Performande Morges" in the 1970s, importing and selling Ferrari, Lancia and Panther cars, among others. Business was probably going well and, in view of the wealthy clientele, Felber, a car enthusiast, began to produce his own cars. With the Felber (Ferrari) FF, Willy H. Felber created his first creation for the 1974 Geneva Motor Show, which would probably be best described as retro design in today's terminology. He drew inspiration for the FF from the Ferrari 125 S from 1947. The lightweight sports car was powered by a Ferrari twelve-cylinder engine with a displacement of around four liters. It was to cost 90,000 francs in 1974. As early as 1975, he reported six vehicles sold, and in the end it is said to have been a good dozen. German racing driver Harald Ertl described the car in the Auto Zeitung as "purely a man's car".
