English sports cars are a chapter of their own. They are usually identified with comfortable, tough vehicles with an imposing background noise, once designed for the man with a sports cap and pipe. They have a certain dusty image attached to them that is no longer particularly popular today. The MGB GT occupies an exceptional position here. The MGB GT is a mature, polished model of an era that is dying. One of the last to try to keep up with technical developments on an old basis. Most of these English sports cars were fitted with a "rag roof", which had the immense disadvantage that you were never unaware of the prevailing weather conditions.
