Heinz Kranz from the magazine 'hobby' was one of the first to test drive the new Glas Coupé S 1004. He had actually intended to give the pre-production vehicle a thorough thrashing, but in the end he had to admit that the Dingolfingen-based company had put a really good car on its wheels. This article reproduces the original wording of the test drive report from 1961 and is illustrated with pictures from the time and additional archive photos.
