Summary
The Citroën CX celebrates its 40th birthday in 2014. Hardly any other car from the 1970s still looks as fresh and modern today as the unconventional French car. The CX was built for 17 years as a saloon and break, always equipped with four-cylinder engines and hydropneumatics. This vehicle report describes the history of the CX model and shows a CX 25 GTi in many current pictures and other variants in historical pictures.
