Borgward P100 from 1961 - the never published AR long-distance test

Preview (beginning of the article)
The long-distance test of the Borgward P 100, also known as the "big Borgward", although largely completed, was never published due to the bankruptcy and sale of the Borgward factories. While other magazines still came out "on time" with their driving reports and test drives, the detail-oriented way of working took more time and was therefore not completed in time. Nevertheless, the entire documentation will be shown here in order to learn more about the Borgward P 100 on the one hand and the working methods of the automobile journalists at AR at the time on the other. Some things take time. An extensive presentation of the Borgward P 100 had already been published in Automobil Revue No. 42 from 1960 and of course editor R. Braunschweig also wanted to carry out a long-distance test with the promising newcomer with the revolutionary air suspension.
