It was only built for three years from 1936 to 1939, but it achieved 2000 race victories. The BMW 328 is considered the most successful racing sports car of the pre-war years. Its design was so advanced that the engine continued to be built until the 1960s, albeit under a different name. Today, these sports roadsters are sought after and are among the most valuable BMW classics of all.
