However, the book could also be a deterrent for easily discouraged contemporaries, as the author describes just about every surprise you might encounter in the course of a restoration. The book is even worth reading for anyone who is not restoring a vehicle at all, but simply wants to find out everything there is to know about a perfect restoration.
