The 14 platforms of the paternoster at the Audi museum mobile in Ingolstadt are now once again equipped with new cars. In the "Variations in Red" exhibition, 13 classic cars from Audi's corporate history are on display, as well as two NSU Quickly two-wheelers and a 1:2 scale model of the Audi Cabriolet. All the gems are painted red and come from the Audi Tradition historical vehicle collection. They offer a unique scenario in this compilation.
Unrestored Wanderer and world record vehicle
Visitors to the museum will encounter, among other things, an elegant Horch 420 Cabriolet from 1931, an unrestored Wanderer W 25 K Convertible (1936) and a DKW F 9 (1941) with a particularly aerodynamic design.
The Audi A4 "Panamericana" can also be seen as a witness to the more recent past. Gerhard Plattner, an expert in long-distance driving, and his co-pilot Norbert Pöchmann crossed the American double continent in it in 1995. It took them just 20 days, beating the record at the time by almost three and a half days.
Open daily...
The exhibits are expected to be on display at the Audi museum mobile for one year. The Audi museum mobile is open to visitors daily from 9 am to 6 pm.
