Polished chrome veterans, uncompromising muscle cars and the unmistakable V8 engine sound herald only one thing: the legendary US car meeting at the Technik Museum Sinsheim. On August 7 and 8, 2021, the magnificent road cruisers, powerful custom cars and many more will roll onto the museum grounds for the tenth US Car Meeting.
Every year on the first weekend in August, the museum grounds are transformed into an Eldorado for owners and fans of historic and modern US cars. The organizers expect hundreds of colourful street cruisers, fascinating restorations as well as modern cars bursting with power. The inner courtyard of the museum is reserved for classic tailfin giants built up to 1991, US Rats, Customs and Hot Rods. The outdoor area P2 is for all US beauties built up to 2001, including US rats, custom cars and hot rods; parking lot P3 is for all new and muscle cars. Against a unique backdrop, participants have the opportunity to present their vehicles to interested museum visitors and exchange ideas with like-minded people.
And there's a lot on the program for 2021: if looking at vehicles is not enough for you, you can also use the day for a beauty program: A barber store and a tattoo studio will be on hand to offer advice and assistance. In addition to a colorful dealer mile, cool live bands will provide a great atmosphere on the grounds. There will also be plenty to eat and drink. Even into the evening on Saturday. Both visitors and participants can round off the evening with a delicious BBQ and cool drinks.
Anyone attending the meeting should also take a look at the US car exhibition area of the Technik Museum Sinsheim: The popular collection of American dream cars, the American Dream Cars Collection, was reopened three years ago: Vivid scenarios, rare vehicles and a completely new look reflect the last 100 years of American automotive history on over 1500 m2: from the 1920s to modern times, from dirt track racing to the glamor of the 1950s and much more. The constantly changing exhibits keep this unique exhibition alive.
The US Car Meeting will take place on August 7 and 8, 2021 on the open-air grounds of the Technik Museum Sinsheim: Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and a cozy finale, Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission to the outdoor area is free for both visitors and participants. Registered participants will receive reduced admission to the museum on this day. Further information can be found on the website of the Technik Museum Sinsheim.
