It will soon be that time again: the "Swiss Classic Awards" will be presented again in 2023. And for the sixth time.
The awards and prizes of the Swiss Classic Award recognize the achievements of individuals and institutions or associations that have made a special contribution to the interests, promotion and recognition of historic vehicles as a rolling cultural asset.
There will now be additional categories in the field of historic motorsport and for the respective Swiss language regions, meaning that personalities and projects in the following areas can now be nominated on the Swiss Classic Award website:
- Swiss Classic Lifetime Award
- Swiss Classic Innovation Award
- Swiss Classic Door Opener Award
- Swiss Classic Rookie Award
- Swiss Classic Historic Motorsport Award (new)
- Swiss Classic Passion Award Suisse Romande (new)
- Swiss Classic Passion Award Ticinese (new)
- Swiss Classic Passion Award German-speaking Switzerland (new)
Anyone can nominate one or more candidates of their choice quickly and easily on the Swiss Classic Ward website. Potential candidates are also welcome to nominate their own projects or themselves.
The Swiss Classic Award jury will then select three candidates from all the nominations submitted. From these, the winner of the 2023 awards will then be determined in September/October - in selected categories - as part of a Switzerland-wide public vote.
