After the auction is before the auction. The hammer has barely fallen for the last time at the April auction of the Oldtimer Galerie in Toffen when the next auction is already upon us. On June 11, 2016, the already well-established sales event will take place at the Dolder ice rink on the day before the June Dolder Classics.
And as far as is known, the range on offer is already impressive. A whole series of Ferrari sports cars are on offer, including the auction's flagship, a Ferrari F40, which could justifiably fetch a seven-figure price. The hammer will fall a little earlier, or at lower bids, on the Ferrari 250 GTE from 1972.
But Porsche, BMW and Mercedes fans will also get their money's worth. The Audi Quattro is also interesting.
And fans of special bodywork will also find an Alfa Romeo 1900 CSS with Ghia-Aigle coupé bodywork, an Alvis with Graber bodywork and a Hotchkiss with Worblaufen bodywork on offer.
Fans of modern classics can also get their money's worth at the Dolder, e.g. with a BMW Z8 or a Bentley Azure.
The last consignments are still being accepted, but the closing date is coming up soon, as the catalog is to be presented (and sold) at the Swiss Classic World classic car fair in Lucerne on 28 and 29 May 2016. No wonder they are working and preparing almost day and night in Toffen.
