The Silverstone Classic from July 24 to 26, 2015 is celebrating its 25th anniversary. It is the world's largest festival for historic motorsport and is already breaking all records, as over 100 clubs have registered for the first time!
They will all be exhibiting their most beautiful and interesting vehicles, creating a huge museum on the Silverstone site
Record after record
Last year's figures already broke all records; 93 clubs had registered for the Silverstone Classic 2014, exhibiting a total of 10,000 classic cars.
The other figures are also astonishing: last year, the mammoth British event attracted no less than 94,000 people and featured no fewer than 23 races. A total of 1,125 participants took part, which was more than ever before!
Anniversaries upon anniversaries
To coincide with the Silverstone Classic Silver Jubilee itself, various clubs and cars are celebrating milestone anniversaries and will be honored with special races at the Silverstone Grand Prix Circuit, including; 60 years foryears for the TVR Car Club and the Aston Martin DB6, 50 years for the Rolls Royce Silver Shadwo, 40 candles for the Jaguar XJS and the Triumph TR7, 30 years for the Sinclair C5 and the Toyota MR2 and 25 years for the Honda NSX and the Mazda MX-5.
