Rare models from 125 years of Škoda Auto - The 'Hajaja' estate prototype and why it never went into series production

Skoda Type 990 "Hajaja" (1963) - The three-week tests of the "Hajaja" began at the end of May 1963, but in the end Škoda gave preference to the two-door coupé version of the 1000:1100 MB.

Skoda 1000 M (1965) - The only example of the Škoda 1000/1100 MB station wagon is now in the Škoda Museum. It was built in the spring of 1963 on the basis of a used notchback model from a 50-vehicle prototype pre-series.

In addition to the attractive design, the MBX body also impressed with its better side view. Not only could the windows in the doors be rolled down, but also the smaller ones next to the rear seat.

The ŠKODA MBX with a displacement of 988 cm3 and 1107 cm3 was built a total of 2,517 times.

When the side windows were rolled down, the impression of a pillarless body was created.
