On September 28, Emil Frey Classics celebrates its tenth anniversary - and invites you to a brunch and open day in Safenwil. Visitors can expect a day full of emotion, the sound of engines and fascinating stories about the world of classic cars.
The Classic Car Museum opens its doors free of charge and presents an impressive exhibition with the most important models from the history of Emil Frey as well as iconic masterpieces of automotive engineering. A special highlight is also the insight into the current special exhibition "The Century of the Automobile. Graubünden 1925-2025", which impressively shows how the automobile has shaped an entire region.
The supporting program is varied and offers unforgettable experiences for young and old: Visitors can take a look behind the scenes of the classic car workshop, talk to the archive managers or marvel at the classic cars currently for sale.
Brunch at the end of the season
There will also be plenty of culinary delights: those who wish can start the day with a lovingly prepared end-of-season brunch and get into the culinary mood for the festival. But the rest of the day is also well catered for: various food stands offer a varied selection - from hearty burgers, crispy pizzas and fine sausages to sweet and savory snacks, there is something for every taste. Advance booking is compulsory.
The entertainment on offer leaves nothing to be desired. Younger guests can look forward to face painting, creative games and the loving painting of pumpkins. For the more adventurous, the Driving Center in the Audi 100 offers an extraordinary head-over-heels experience - from which you have to free yourself.
A special highlight is the souvenir photo in the style of the 1950s, which can be taken on site: While the children take a seat in the 1953 Austin J40 pedal car, the adults pose next to it in front of the Austin A40, the "big brother" from the Emil Frey collection. If you like, you can dress appropriately for the era.
Musical highlights will be provided by Chris Regez & Guitar Mike, who will ensure a festival atmosphere and top entertainment with their live performance. And anyone who has always wanted to take a seat in a vintage car will have the opportunity to experience the fascination of times gone by up close during a stylish cab ride.
Exciting guided tours of the museum and the classic car workshop will take place every hour in the afternoon - with fascinating insights and first-hand stories. Ten years of Emil Frey Classics - a day that makes classic car dreams come true and allows visitors to experience the enthusiasm for automotive history with all their senses.
