At the last board meeting, the Kriens-Eigenthal-Historic Association with President Alfred Gut decided to reschedule the major show drive of historic vintage vehicles planned for 2018 for September 14/15, 2019.
It has become clear that sufficient lead time is required for a successful event.
As an interim solution, an attractive prologue is planned as a prelude on September 16, 2018, starting at the Swiss Museum of Transport, together with the Bellpark Museum in Kriens and the Concours d'Excellence International, Lucerne. The final details are still being worked out.
Revival in September 2019
The actual main event in September 2019 is being prepared by an experienced OC under the leadership of Peter W. Ottiger and the sports organization of the ACS Central Section. The aim is to stage an exciting old-timer revival of the hill climb in Eigenthal, which was last held in 1968.
There has already been a great deal of interest and sympathy, which makes the OC confident.
