The 46th edition of Rétromobile Paris from March 16 to 20, 2022 will once again feature interesting manufacturer presentations.
50 years of the Renault 5
With the front-wheel drive Renault 5 launched in 1972, the Régie did everything right, because the R5 was a versatile, appealing and affordable car. It represented the modern era of Renault and won the hearts of car buyers.
To celebrate its 50th anniversary, Renault will be showing special and rare examples to congratulate the "little friend".
90 years of Citroën Rosalie
The brand with the double angle can look back on a rich history of grand tourers. The Citroën Rosalie was certainly one of the earliest and records were also set on its basis.
Much more important for the Citroën brand, however, was the Traction Avant, which had a lasting impact on the brand character with its innovative design.
However, Citroën showed considerably more in Paris, such as the CX, the 2 CV Sahara and the SM Opéra by Chapron, an attempt to design a four-door saloon based on the SM. However, the model was very expensive and only eight examples could be built.
A reconstruction of the Lamborghini Countach LP500 prototype from 1971 is also expected in Paris.
