The unique Old Wheels Biel-Bienne meeting will take place every year. By organizing this event, the initiators want to offer the numerous enthusiasts and owners of historic vehicles a platform where like-minded people can meet and present their classic cars to the general public. The focus is on bringing classic car enthusiasts together to make this day a great experience and to allow everyone to immerse themselves in a piece of the past. Every classic car object is valuable and at the same time a reminder of the progress that has accompanied mankind since the beginning.
On Saturday from 09.00 a.m., the brand-independent Old Wheels meeting will take place on the Tissot Arena grounds in Biel. It is the largest covered outdoor event in Switzerland. Vehicles from all eras up to and including 1988 are very welcome: Cars, motorcycles, bicycles, utility and military vehicles, tractors, agricultural machinery.
VW collection on display
As part of the 70th anniversary celebrations of the VW brand, Garage Autoweibel AG from Aarberg, which specializes in VW classic cars, is exclusively exhibiting its collection of VW Beetles from 1948 to 1967 as a guest exhibitor. All 7 Golf generations will also be on display, as well as special versions of various VW Beetle, VW Golf and VW Transporter models. A total of 48 exclusive Volkswagen brand vehicles will be presented on site.
