Retro Classics Stuttgart 2021 has now been set on a definitive date, which benefits the organizers and spectators alike. On the first date, the event would have had to be held with major organizational restrictions. A new time slot has now been negotiated.
Regret and positive mood in equal measure
Of course, it is regrettable that "the new postponement has caused inconvenience, especially for exhibitors", but this unusual step has made it possible to achieve "a much better situation for everyone involved". In addition, there are "no more overlaps with events organized by other market players. There will definitely be no further postponements," says Andreas Herrmann, Managing Director of RETRO Messen GmbH.
The event, which will now take place from February 25 to 28, 2021, will have the entire Messe Stuttgart site at its disposal, allowing for generous and flexible planning. The signs from the industry promise success. "We are pleased about the current very good booking situation and will transfer this to the new, attractive date," says Andreas Herrmann.
It doesn't work without adjustments
Of course, it has to be said that it is not possible to hold such an event without adjustments. Opening doors earlier, for example, is part of Messe Stuttgart's hygiene and health concept, as is online ticketing and a state-of-the-art shift ventilation system that will supply the grounds with fresh air.
However, Andreas Hermann believes that the adjustments will not have a major impact on the course of the trade fair. Nothing should therefore stand in the way of a smooth and successful event.
