The rally for young people has already become a cherished tradition. On May 2 and 3, 2020, the fourth edition will take place again and around 60 to 100 classic and youngtimers will embark on a sporty journey through Switzerland.
Passing on the love of cars to the next generation
The RAID Young Raiders Challenge aims to inspire a young audience for automobiles and pass on the joy of driving. To this end, the RAID organization also opens its doors to youngtimers - cars built in 2000 or later - and allows them to participate.
Ride on a route of the Grand Tour of Switzerland! The Grand Tour of Switzerland combines the highlights of Switzerland in one trip. The route leads through four language regions, over five Alpine passes, to twelve UNESCO World Heritage Sites and two biospheres and along 22 lakes. On a special section of the Grand Tour, the Young Riders will experience the scenic beauty of this route live for the first time.
Participation fees affordable for everyone
The participation fee is no obstacle even for young teams, although it had to be raised for 2020 due to a lack of sponsors, and the experience of previous participants has been so positive that many come back every year.
