This year, the traditional classic car rally leads from Basel to Burgundy before continuing on to Paris. For 27 years now, the RAID team led by H.A. Bichsel has been organizing attractive rallies with a cultural focus, looking after both participants and vehicles.
The RAID Suisse-Paris is one of the largest classic car rallies in the world. It is the only event of its kind to have a separate class for women, the RAID Ladies Cup, and for young drivers up to the age of 35, the RAID Young Raiders Cup.
In 2017, the route leads along beautiful country roads through the Jura and Franche-Comté to Beaune. From the Côte de Nuits to the Morvan region, then over the Côte d'Or up to the Burgundy-Champagne border. The participants then tour through flat areas of the Paris basin and through blossoming landscapes to a castle in the vicinity of the French capital. The route has changed once again and will certainly be a pleasure to ride. The special program also includes a gourmet package that will delight any connoisseur of French haute cuisine.
With a wide variety of car makes, models and vintages, the RAID is almost a museum on wheels. If you would like to take part, you can register online now(link).
