OCC Assekuradeur, the leading provider of classic car insurance in the entire DACH region, is renewing its product portfolio in the fall and expanding its existing insurance services.
The new insurance products include repair cost insurance, legal protection insurance and trade and craft insurance.
More protection for motor vehicle businesses
Trade and craft insurance is the ideal protection for car repair businesses that also repair valuable vintage and classic cars. These vehicles (over 20 years old) are often excluded from cover under conventional insurance policies in the event of damage occurring in the workshop.
More protection for classic and vintage car owners
With the repair cost insurance launched in October, classic car owners can insure their vehicle against repairs for a fixed premium (up to EUR 10,000 per year).
OCC is also significantly expanding its existing insurance services. For example, two-wheeler conversions to electric mobility, e.g. for scooters (Vespa, Lambretta) and high-quality custom bikes, can be insured.
Caravans that are more than 20 years old will also be covered by OCC in future.
At classic car racing events, OCC insurance cover will also apply if average speeds of 80 km/h are reached (previous limit: 50 km/h). With these extended insurance benefits, OCC has responded specifically to the needs and wishes of customers and the classic car community.
More protection for dogs
OCC is also the first provider in Germany to offer special accident insurance for dogs. It protects the owners of four-legged friends against the financial consequences of accidents caused by their own fault if the dog is traveling in the vehicle and is injured.
With the OCC dog passenger insurance, for example, expensive treatment costs of up to 5,000 euros per year at veterinarians are covered for an annual premium of 40 euros.
OCC Managing Director Andreas Vietor: "Thanks to our market leadership in the classic car segment, we consistently use our knowledge of our customers and their vehicles in product management."
Marcel Neumann, Chief Sales & Product Officer at OCC: "With our product offensive, we are not only improving our core product once again, but also providing holistic solutions for our community and cooperation partners with innovative insurance products."
