From August 18 to 20, 2017, the St. Moritz area will once again host the Passione Engadina, which is dedicated to cars built up to 1980. As a special surprise, participants and visitors can look forward to a special exhibition with twenty of the greatest Ferrari sports and racing cars from 70 years of Ferrari, including the Alfa Romeo GP 16C Bimotore and the Ferrari 156 F1 "Sharknose" as well as the Ferrari P5 show car by Pininfarina. These rarities alone are worth a trip to St. Moritz.
The Passione (Classic) program begins with the arrival of the participants at Suvretta House in St. Moritz on 18 August 2017. The first special stage will then take place at the S-Chanf military base in the afternoon.
On Saturday, the big exit to Zernez and over the Fernpass and the Umbrail to Bormio follows. Then over further passes back to St. Moritz.
Finally, on Sunday, the cars present themselves to the public to be judged on their beauty in the Country Club of the Hotel Kulm.
Many rarities from 50 years of Italian car history are registered, e.g. a Lancia Aprilia Pininfarina from 1938, a Lancia Aurelia B24 Spider America from 1955, a Maserati Mistral Spider from 1964, a Ferrari 275 GTB/4 from 1966 and a Fiat 132 Aster Zagato from 1972, to name just a few examples. Lovers of Italian beauties will definitely get their money's worth if they visit the Concours on Sunday or line up on the street on Saturday.
Further information is of course available on the Passione Engadina website.
