For many visitors to the Lucerne Museum Night, it is the classic cars that are the biggest attraction. Riding in an old Austin, Bentley, Cadillac, Citroën, Postbus, Rolls-Royce or Willys Jeep is an experience that tourists and locals alike will never forget.
Over 80 classic car drivers make themselves available to take passengers from one museum to another. And in doing so, they also create goodwill for the classic car scene, because for once the museum visitors do not perceive the old cars as a nuisance on the road or a source of emissions, but as part of history. For this, the classic car drivers deserve the thanks of the entire scene.
If you would like to know which cars are available, please refer to the online vehicle lists.
And if you want to be there, just travel to Lucerne tonight (September 5, 2014).
All Lucerne museums will be open from 18:00 - 01:00 and offer visitors a special program. The vintage cars will be on the road from 7 p.m. to midnight, traffic permitting.
More information about the Museum Night can be found on a dedicated website.
