In 2026, the widely popular "Oldtimer in Obwalden" meeting will once again take place at Whitsun. On May 23, 2025, the meeting will take place in the cantonal capital of Sarnen, with a trip to Brienz planned for Sunday.
Saturday
The village center of Sarnen is closed to normal traffic from 23 May to 24 May 11:00 and is therefore available to the classic cars, which arrive from 09:00.
After midday, the coveted passenger trips are organized, and at 15:15 we set off on the Saturday trip. And the much-acclaimed soapbox race will once again be part of the event.
Sunday
The Sunday ride to Brienz starts at 09:00.
As far as possible, the ride will then take side roads over the Brünig to Brienz, where a corso through the village and concluding festivities are planned.

As the vehicle contingent is not large, especially in Brienz, early registration is recommended. This can be done online or by telephone via Obwalden Tourism.
