An interesting collection will go under the hammer at the Oldtimer Gallery auction in Gstaad on December 29, 2022. It contains special cars from four decades, on average 23 years old. Because they are all "driver's cars", the selection has been named the "Touring Collection".
Two Ferrari with twelve-cylinder engines form the spearhead, a Testarossa from 1991 and a manual 412 from 1987.
Aston Martin is represented by one of the rare V8 Vantage 550s from 1996, also manual.
There are two Continental models from Bentley at the start, a T from 1996 and an R Le Mans from 2001, both with automatic transmission.
There are also two exclusive models from Rolls-Royce, a late Corniche Cabriolet from 1988 and a Phantom Coupé from 2009.
A Jaguar Sovereign 4.0 from 1989 looks almost folksy in this group, but has only run around 13,000 km.
The two off-road vehicles, a Land Rover Defender "Hunter Edition" from 2013 and a Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG from 2020, will appeal more to neoclassic fans.
The cars are all very well maintained and come documented with clear mileages.
The estimated prices have not yet been set.
Other cars have already been announced for the auction on December 29, 2022, including an SS100 Jaguar 2 1/2 Litre, a Maserati Ghibli 4700 and a Porsche 930 Turbo Cabriolet from 1989.
