On Saturday, June 7 and Pentecost Sunday, June 8, 2025, Obwalden will once again become a paradise for historic vehicles. Over 500 classic cars are expected. O-iO, the cheerful folk festival. O-iO combines nostalgia with a unique experience.
Many program highlights
Saturday: Exhibition in the cordoned-off town center of Sarnen - with historical music and costumes. Followed by a romantic ride and free concerts in the evening.
Sunday: 10 am start in Sarnen, spectacular ride to Seelisberg via two routes, one flat and one over the Ächerli Pass.
Cars, motorcycles and bicycles from the last century
The start list already shows a wide variety, from everyday classics to racing cars from the last century from 1908 onwards; O-iO is also the warm-up for the Klausenrennen 2026.
Culture and classic cars
O-iO was recognized as a cultural event. Organizer Ruedi Müller received Sarnen's first cultural award in 2019. "Classic cars connect generations and create unforgettable moments full of joy."
