The O-iO (Oldtimer in Obwalden) takes place for the 20th time at Whitsun.
As usual, Saturday (June 8, 2019) will be dedicated to the get-together in Sarnen and short tours of the surrounding area, while Sunday (June 9, 2019) will see an excursion from Sarnen to Beromünster.
Folk festival
From the very beginning, O-iO has been a folk and photo festival with thousands of spectators, including many kids. O-iO is one of the few events that take place in villages that are closed to normal traffic for the occasion.
O-iO is free of charge for the public.
More than 500 old cars, tractors and other vehicles
More than 500 vintage cars, people lined up and strolling happily in a suitable setting - these are the hallmarks of this event. More and more participants, as well as spectators, show up in historical costumes to match their classic cars, making the journey back in time perfect.
As a spectator or participant, you can enjoy a good time with your classic car in Sarnen, with your partner, children, grandchildren and granddaughters in Sarnen and/or Beromünster. The excursions are also always popular and an important part of the weekend.
