The "Swiss Classic World" has been around for over ten years. This year, it will take place from May 29 to 30, and for the first time in the history of this trade fair, a large number of the more than 1000 classic vehicles can be experienced on site with their engines running and in motion. This new feature will be made possible by an extension to the hall concept: at the head end of the two exhibition halls 1 and 2, a driveway will be built that will be clearly visible to everyone and on which cars with running engines will roll through at walking pace and present themselves to the public "in action" as part of three driving events and the auction.
However, the heart of the fair remains the vehicle exhibition, the Oldtimer Galerie Toffen auction of 50 selected vehicles on the Saturday of the exhibition, the vehicle market for private and commercial sellers and dealers, which is open to interested parties, and the large accessories and parts market. And, as is only fitting, various food trucks, sausage and ice cream stands as well as the self-service restaurant Free Flow and the Messe Luzern Kaffeebar are popular treff- and relaxation points to review the Swiss Classic World 2026 experience and the new "driving impressions" with family, friends and like-minded classic car fans.
