On September 17 and 18, 2022, the Motorworld Oldtimer Days Fürstenfeld will take place for the 16th time. Against the baroque backdrop of Fürstenfeld Monastery near Munich, they offer an experience for vehicle fans and the whole family. In addition to exceptional automobiles and motorcycles, accessories and spare parts, art and crafts, fashion and much more, there is an exciting supporting program for young and old. Highlights include three concours for cars and motorcycles as well as the start and finish of the Fürstenfeld Classic Motorcycle Tour. The heart of the event is the classic car meeting with over 1200 vehicles from different eras. Classic car drivers can register online in advance for the paddock and receive preferential entry via the Engelsberg.
Heroes of the racetrack
On Sunday, September 18, 2022, the 4th Concorso Competizione Sportivo will focus on true heroes of the racetrack. The competition is dedicated exclusively to vehicles with sporting genes or real racing history and, with around 40 cars, represents a journey through the history of motor racing. This year's motto is "Fast and Elegant". Owners of sports cars or racing cars from endurance racing as well as rally cars, touring cars, formula cars, pre-war racing and sports cars or hillclimb vehicles can compete. Judging takes place in different classes.
Competition for young drivers
The "80's Ensemble" on Saturday, September 17, 2022, is a competition for young cars and young drivers. The age of the vehicle and the age of the driver must add up to a maximum of 80. Cars of any make and any color that are at least 20 years old are admitted to the Concours. For the spectators, this results in a colorful mix of young and oldtimers from the last four decades of the 20th century. Interested parties can send applications with a photo of the car and details of its first registration and date of birth to [email protected] by September 1, 2022. A committee will select the participants who will then be able to present their vehicle to the public and the six-member jury against the backdrop of Fürstenfeld Monastery.
Fürstenfeld Classic Motorcycle Tour
A highlight for motorcycle nostalgics is the Fürstenfeld Classic Motorcycle Tour, which will take place for the fourth time on Saturday, September 17, 2022 with around 70 teams. The classic motorcycle enthusiasts will set off from the monastery at 10:00 a.m. with their motorcycles and sidecar bikes built up to and including 1939. The route leads through the area between Augsburg, Fürstenfeldbruck and Dachau on small roads with little traffic and past places steeped in history to Altomünster. The rolling motorcycle museum is expected to return at around 16:00.
Concours d'Elegance for motorcycles
Two-wheeler fans will also get their money's worth at the Classic Concours for motorcycles. The vehicle awards for technical cultural assets on two wheels will take place on both days of the event. Motorcycles built up to 1989 can be entered and will be judged by an expert jury in five categories. The closing date for entries is September 4, 2022.
