"And the winner is ...": The jury of the Motorworld Book Prize has selected the winners for 2020. With this award, the Motorworld Group, which is acting as the main organizer of the literary prize for the second time this year, honors the best car books of the year. The award ceremony took place on Tuesday, September 22, 2020, in the Kohlebunker at Motorworld Munich.
From around 50 new publications of the past year, the high-caliber jury around book prize initiator and jury chairman Jürgen Lewandowski has selected literary works that will enrich the bookshelves of every car enthusiast.
There are so many good car books that are so rarely recognized - that was the reason for creating the Car Book Prize in 2005," says Jürgen Lewandowski. "With the support of Motorworld and SSR Performance, the award has become even more important in German-speaking countries - and we can thank the authors and publishers who bring this genre to life with their creativity and commitment to words and images."
The following books made the running in the five categories of brand book, biography, motorsport, design and company biography. The jury also awarded special prizes again this year.
