Every year, the OTM Fribourg is the starting point for the new season for many classic car enthusiasts in Switzerland. People meet there, sit together with friends and talk about the successful restoration work over the winter or the planned trips in the hopefully soon to begin spring. The OTM has been a fixture in the annual calendar for almost 43 years.
On March 24/25, 2018, the time has come again, unfortunately coinciding with the trade fairs in Essen and Stuttgart.
One of this year's highlights will certainly be the special show on the subject of "Montage Suisse", which the Swiss Car Register will be putting on in memory of the times when General Motors still assembled vehicles in Biel.
Few people remember that Opel, Chevrolet and the like were once built in Biel and that there were even vehicle types for Switzerland that were completed exclusively in Biel.
Of course, the club show with its many brand clubs will once again attract a lot of interest. And you won't be able to avoid the displays of the many dealers and parts marketers anyway.
Around 20,000 visitors are expected and if the weather cooperates, many will even come by classic car.
Further information on the Fribourg classic car and parts market can be found on the official website.
