In the middle of England at the Rockingham Motor Speedway in Corby, enthusiastic MG owners will gather on April 11, 2015, i.e. in around 1.5 weeks, to set a new world record.
The MG Owners' Club has teamed up with Lancaster Insurance to set the record for the largest gathering of MGs in a motorcade.
The aim is for 100 vehicles to make their rounds on the oval circuit at the same time.
The world record attempt brings together MG enthusiasts from near and far. Participants enjoy a whole day of racing fun on the circuit and a traditional spit-roasted pig to stave off hunger.
So far 175 vehicles have registered. If you are a proud MG owner and would like to take part in the record attempt, you can still register on the Lancester Insurance website until March 30.
